Oh Paris. Need I say more really?
Our summer in Paris, though short, was glorious. We only stayed in the city for two days as the focus of this summer’s trip was really the South of France. But of course Paris, even if for only a few days, never ceases to prove its charms and has still captivated me through and through. Having finished all the tourist spots on our first trip two years ago, we opted to focus on just getting lost in the streets of Paris and go wherever our feet lead us. This was pretty much the result.
As an art history student, I always seek to visit a museum or an art gallery no matter where I go, hence this time around we went to Musée de l’Orangerie (the painting above is one of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies-absolutely wonderful bien sûr), and a walk to the Archives Nationales Histoire de France.
I have much to share about Paris, this is only the beginning.
